I have to wonder if they're making all these 80s remakes because people our age are in the business and want to remake these movies... or if baby boomers are still in charge of creative and they have no good ideas left?the weirdgirlhttp://weirdgirl.typepad.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8350642370729096785.post-6398249408464397122010-04-03T08:34:16.983-04:002010-04-03T08:34:16.983-04:00I am hoping they don't remake Tron because the...I am hoping they don't remake Tron because they most likely ruin. But I completely understand why they're doing it. We hold the 80s movies in high regard, but to the current generation, they might as well be in black and white.

Remaking the 80s doesn't erase the movies we love. And I'm not saying that the remakes are better than the movies we grew up with. All I'm saying is that from a marketing standpoint, I get it.

However, I'm not going to see a bad remake just because it's out there. Clash of the Titans currently has a 35% on Rotten Tomatoes. Seems to me I'll be better off with the original.DGBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01302995272029761401noreply@blogger.com
