Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa.
Kind of a shame, really. I'd like to see a good version of Wonder Woman on the screen. With the slew of superhero films being made, nary a one features a kick-ass woman. Yes, I know, there was Elektra awhile back, but it sucked. (Sorry, Jennifer Garner, I still like you.) And don't even get me started on Sucker Punch. Really. Don't. I could go on for hours about how much that film's "female empowerment" angers me.
My hope is that Joss Whedon's Avengers movie does well enough to resurrect his dream of a Wonder Woman film. That's something I'd pay $12 to see.
