I'm not going to lie, I rather love Robert Rodriguez's crazy over-the-top films. He's back this summer with Machete Kills and a crazy cast. Here's the first trailer:
He had me at President Carlos Estevez. And look! It's Cuba Gooding Jr! His career isn't totally dead yet! And Mel Gibson is (typecast?) as evil! What they don't show in the trailer is that Alexa Vega, the female girl from the Spy Kids films that Robert also directs, makes a very grown-up appearance in Machete Kills. Franchise crossover! Anyone else think that this looks like a good time?
