Like most franchises from the 1980s Robocop is getting a reboot. Here's a look at the first trailer:
My first impression: woah. Sam Jackson? Gary Oldman? Jackie Earle Haley? MICHAEL KEATON?!? Yes. The suit? I think I rather like it. It's a clear nod to the old look but with some Batman armor flair. The premise? What the what? But honestly, this looks much much better than I was expecting. What do you think?
In related news, did you know that the city of Detroit will be getting an actual Robocop statue? I think that's pretty outstanding. Much cooler than Philly's Rocky statue.
