First Look: Peeples

Yeah, I realize it's basically a rehash of Meet The Parents, but it's got Craig Robinson, so count me in!

First Look: Fun., "Why Am I The One"

Fun. released a new video yesterday for "Why Am I The One," the fourth single off Some Nights:

Song Of The Day: Hard-Ons, "Then I Kissed Her"

From 1986, here are the Hard-Ons with "Then I Kissed Her."

Steve Casino Is Nuts

This is easily the coolest thing I've seen on the Internet this month.

Steve Casino is an artist and his medium is the peanut. The "Painter Of Nuts" takes peanuts and paints them to look just like actors, celebrities, and rock stars. And then he sells them for $500 a pop.

What? You didn't think he was working for peanuts, did you?

Here are some of my favorites:

Sid Vicious & Johnny Rotten

First Look: M. Night Shyamalan's Real Genius

This is genius:

The genius behind it? Don Draper Says What.

Don't You Mean Dancing With THE STAR?

So yesterday they announced the "stars" that will be contestants on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars and truthfully, it looks like every other cast that's come before it. But I might actually watch it this season. Why? Because in addition to the usual lot of a Real Housewife Of Something Or Another, a Disney princess, and several athletes, DWTS also had the genius to cast this man:

Seven Questions In Heaven With 7bit Hero

Describe your music for our readers who may not be familiar with you.
7bit Hero is video game and pop music combined. Some people refer to it as Bitpop music. We hug classic blips and beeps from the '80s and '90s and then punch them with a band sound.

Who are your musical influences and idols?
From the VGM (video game music) movement, we love Koji Kondo (Mario), Joren Te (Golden Axe (c64)), Chris Hulsbeck (Turrican 2), and Jesper Kyd (Assassin's Creed). From other musics, we love The GO! Team, Anamanaguchi, Flume, and Pogo.

What was the first album, cassette, or CD you bought with your own money?
Tu-Plang by Regurgitator was my first purchase. I remember taking that shiny CD home and not listening to it until I had consumed the artwork with my eyes.

First Listen: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, "Sacrilege"

This is amazing!

Song Of The Day: Silverchair, "Tomorrow"

From 1994, here's Silverchair with "Tomorrow."
