Three-word review: This baby rocks!
The Sol Republic Deck is a beautiful little wireless speaker that sounds just as good as it looks. Its sleek, futuristic design is matched with a rich, full sound which is quite loud given its tiny package. The Deck has built-in Bluetooth, which enables you to connect to the speaker wirelessly from up to 300 feet away, perfect for a party or just the soundtrack for cleaning your apartment. The Deck's battery lasts up to ten hours, and if you're curious how much time you have left, a robotic voice tells you when you power the Deck up.
Another cool thing about the Deck is the Heist Mode, which enables five different devices to control the speaker (and the Sol logo displays a different color for each user). We had an S3, iPad, iPhone, and iPod all taking turns playing songs. But if you don't feel like sharing, you can turn this feature off. Plus, if you're using your Deck with your phone and you get a call, all your calls go through the Deck and it becomes a speakerphone. Pretty cool, huh?
