Today we're spending Seven Questions In Heaven with Elwood Kuddles from Killing Kuddles:
Describe your music for our readers who may not be familiar with you.
Loud folk music that was written by a punk guy that fell in love with pop music.
Who are your musical influences and idols?
Jason Shevchuk, Daryl Palumbo, Tim Armstrong, and Jack White.
What was the first album, cassette, or CD you bought with your own money?
With my own money, I would have to say Dude Ranch by Blink 182. You can't have enough poop jokes when you are a teenager.
What was the strangest gig you've ever played?
I am normally the one getting weird, so if something strange is happening it's me doing it. But this one time this pretty big dude came up to me while we were playing and fed me a giant carrot that was fresh out of the ground with dirt and everything. He then dumped a full trashcan on his head and then started a mosh pit and pretended he was a robot. Looking back, I probably should have just declined to eat the creepy carrot.
What is your current favorite guilty pleasure?
Overall favorite is probably this TV show called Dance Moms. Musical guilty pleasure would probably go to the new Paramore record.
If they named an ice cream flavor after you, what would be the name and why?
Sexyberry... and for the obvious reasons!
Final question: You're the opening act of a music festival. You can get any five artists, living or dead, to perform on the bill with you. Which five do you choose and what song do you all perform as the final jam?
Elvis, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Foo Fighters, Kid Dynamite, and Michael Jackson and we would rock "The Decline" by NOFX so I could get my money's worth out of them!
