Today, we're spending Seven Questions In Heaven with Night Panther's Michael Cammarata.
Describe your music for our readers who may not be familiar with you.
Music for people who want to deal with their despair by partying.
Who are your musical influences and idols?
We are all pretty into Bruce Springsteen and Phil Collins. We never try to let our influences consciously make their way into our music though. Nobody wants to hear someone try to be something they are not.
What was the first album, cassette, or CD you bought with your own money?
I specifically opened a lemonade stand with the intention of raising enough money to buy Country Grammar by Nelly. I closed the stand when that goal was reached.
What's the first thing you look for when you hit a new town?
The first thing I like to find is a thrift store to feed my impulsive addiction of collecting records and VHS tapes.
What is your current favorite guilty pleasure?
FUTURE.
If they named an ice cream flavor after you, what would be the name and why?
Indecisive - because I actually have no idea how to answer this one.
Final question: You're the opening act of a music festival. You can get any five artists, living or dead, to perform on the bill with you. Which five do you choose and what song do you all perform as the final jam?
Hall & Oates, Bruce Springsteen, Phil Collins, Tears For Fears, and Gary Numan. We all play a 37-minute version of "Thunder Road."
