Courtney Love Does Jay-Z

I've seen a lot of people hating on this, but I really like it.

First Listen: Justin Timberlake Featuring Jay-Z, "Suit & Tie"

Love this!

Update: Well... looks like Justin wants you to visit his website to hear the song. So be it.

First Look: Kanye West And Jay-Z, "No Church In The Wild"

Oh wow.

First Listen: Sweet, "New York Groove"

This is awesome. It mixes "New York Groove" with "Empire State Of Mind."

When Woody Met Kanye

It's the mashup we didn't know we needed: Jay-Z and Kanye West's "Niggas In Paris" set to scenes from Woody Allen's Midnight In Paris!

First Look: Jay-Z And Kanye West, "Otis"

Love the fact they're auctioning the car for charity.

All Eyes On The Throne

The rumors weren't true: the Jay-Z and Kanye West Watch The Throne album didn't drop on July 4th.

But we were treated to the cover art. And I wouldn't have expected anything less.

I love you, Kanye!

Williow Smith's Next Step Toward World Domination

It's been rumored for a few weeks now but Sony Pictures confirmed it this week: Will Smith is teaming with Jay-Z to create a new movie version of the musical Annie for his daughter, Willow, to star in.

AW. YEAH.

The Jay-Z version of Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem) has always struck me as funny - I mean, what's more gangsta than sampling from a musical about orphans, am I right?

In all seriousness, this could rock. If you've never seen the musical, The Wiz, it's a more urban version of The Wizard of Oz. And it's amazing. I think Will Smith and Jay-Z's version of Annie could be in the same vein.

The film version of The Wiz starred Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Nipsey Russell, Lena Horne, and Richard Pryor, and is directed by Sidney Lumet. Here is the original movie trailer:

So, who's down for a Smith/Jay-Z Annie? Think Beyonce will be the witch?
